Academic Officer

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £27,000-£32,500 per annum dependent on skills and experience

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual, with excellent organisation skills, to join our team in the Academic Office.

The Academic Office handles all student-related academic administration, from pre-Admissions outreach activity to graduation. We are looking to appoint an Academic Officer to join our small and friendly team.  This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to play an integral part in the effective running of a busy, professional office.

Receptionist (Lodge Porter - Days)

Contract type: Full time Average 42 hours/week, Permanent position

Salary:  starting at £29,833.44 rising to £30,117.36 per annum after probationary period.

The Lodge is very much the gateway to the College and on a daily basis our team of Porters welcome and assist a significant number of Fellows, students, staff and visitors from all over the world. The role is a very busy and public facing one in which the Porters are required to provide the highest possible standards of service at all times.

We would like to hear from applicants who enjoy working with and assisting a wide range of people, and who enjoy variety and responsibility. You will be naturally personable, able to demonstrate experience of working in a public facing role that requires problem solving skills alongside providing exceptional customer service and able to remain calm in the event of an emergency.

Casual Receptionist – Days & Nights

Salary: £14.75 per hour (including holiday pay) plus a meal allowance per shift 

Department: Lodge            

Contract type: Casual 

We would like to hear from applicants who enjoy working with and assisting a wide range of people, and who enjoy variety and responsibility. You will be naturally personable and able to demonstrate experience of working in a public facing role that has involved providing great customer service.       

Shift pattern: The working hours available on both Days and Nights are offered on an `ad hoc’ basis, as and when there are shifts to be covered at the College’s Holywell Street Accommodation Lodge. All shifts are 12 hours long with Days being 06:30-18:30hrs and Nights being 18:30–06:30hrs.
